What we do:

WF NFN (WF Neighbors Feeding Neighbors Incorporated) is a  501(c)3 charity offering monthly food markets to those in need of assistance in the form of meats, seasonal fresh vegetables, fruit, milk, juice and pantry items.

 

WF NFN is a grassroots organization aimed at making every neighborhood better for all who live there by providing a free shopping experience designed to help neighbors in need in a no judgement zone atmosphere.  WF NFN enables all who are in need to come in and shop for whatever their need may be so that no family ever goes to bed hungry.  It is our goal to serve our neighbors and provide a positive interaction as they shop.

 

EARLYBIRD is a first round shopping experience for those neighbors that are 75 years of age and older who wish to come into our facility and shop before our general population.   The EARLYBIRD hours are from 9:30am to 10:55am  exclusively.  We offer assistance of our EARLYBIRD ESCORT TEAM by carrying boxes, shopping assistance and in other ways to make your shopping easier.. Please note ID is required for EARLYBIRD shopping.   We will use a numbering system to help organize our Earlybirds in line.   NO TICKETS for Earlybirds!

We also offer SENIORCARE for neighbors that are 65 and older.  SENIORCARE is a monthly subscription service where we deliver food boxes to our SC recipients.  PLEASE NOTE: The ID address must match the address we have on file for delivery.  The name, address and age will be verified per your ID.

We offer 3 types of food boxes:

1. vege box: This box will contain only vegetables and 

fruit, you must request bread and pastries.

2. meat box:  This box will contain all items that are offered for our

SC boxes.

3. soft box:  This box will contain only soup and

easily digestible food items.  This box will not

contain meat, bread or pastries unless requested.

We also offer a DAILY FOOD PANTRY.  The pantry

is open Monday to Thursday from 10am to 2pm, 

the last intake form is taken at 1:50pm.  We DO 

NOT OFFER DELIVERIES AT THE PANTRY!  The 

pantry is located at 8912 Whitefield Avenue, 

(THE SANCTUARY CHURCH).

 

Our SHOP FOR FREE is held the 3rd Saturday of

every month, this is our monthly food giveaway in 

addition to the pantry. The SFF is where we setup

like a grocery store and our neighbors come in and select

grocery items needed for your family.  The hours are 9:30am to 4pm.  We START issuing tickets for entrance to the facility at 8am promptly. 

LEND-A-HAND clothing and household items are available at our SFF and our

DFP.  LEND-A-HAND at the DAILY FOOD PANTRY is only available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Our WF NFN COMMUNITY GARDEN is open and available to all of our neighbors.  The garden is free, however we do ask that you sign a gardening contract that entitles you to garden and maintain your raised bed.  We ask that you proctively participate in promoting a healthy garden and that all harvested vegetation is NOT sold to anyone at any time.

WE ARE A TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS WORKING TOGETHER AS ONE BODY TO FULFILL THE NEEDS OF ALL NEIGHBORS.
